Did you finally buy that perfect soft & cosy faux fur coat? Yes exactly, I mean the new one hanging in your closet with a price tag still on. This scenario happened to me when I bought my very first faux fur coat and because GIRL, I know the struggle, I decided to create an easy outfit styling applicable to any faux fur coat of your choice for this winter season.

#1 Turtle neck sweater
To keep whole under-the-coat outfit really simple and wearable to everybody, I opt for black turtle neck sweater from Pull&Bear (You can find here) which fitted perfectly, was super affordable and made out of comfy material. To preserve my natural body silhouette I chose size S and pair it with black skinny high waisted jeans. As to the color, you can
“make your coat stand out by playing a little bit with the shade contrast between two pieces”
For example match light coat + darker top or vice versa. But what you need to be aware of is that sometimes the fur can fall off the coat and if you want to avoid that situation where your sweater is fully covered by fur hairs, it’s better to combine two similar color shades, e.g. baby pink faux fur coat + maroon or wine-red turtle neck sweater.
#2 The Statement Bag
To spice it up a little, I incorporate to the whole look the Stradivarius cross body handbag with beautiful flower embroidery & golden details. This baby is my favorite one because it definitely has that Gucci vibe.
“The right cross body handbag always puts the whole outfit together and give it that luxury vibe we all are going for ( but of course budget friendly).”
#3 Minimal Accessories
Currently I’m a big fan of simple golden jewelry, nothing crazy like for example, I can wear this set of rings (I can’t remember the brand name) that I have since forever for any occasion because they’re timeless and classy all the time. So to keep this outfit simple they were the perfect option to stay chic but also kinda like I’m not trying that hard (even though I spent hours preparing for this photo shoot, like make up & picking the right clothes).
So I hope you got some inspiration out of this another How to Style blog post and if you have any other tips and tricks on how to style the faux fur coat, please feel free to share them with all of us down below in the comment section (because I’m running out of ideas too, so any kind of help is more than welcome).
